The villa is located near Ahangama, a fishing village known for its stilt fishermen. The villa offers whale watching opportunities between December and April, including the blue and sperm whales, dolphins, and sea turtles. Weligama Surfing is the best bay in southern Sri Lanka for beginners, with smaller waves and uncrowded beaches. Surf tutors and surf shops are available for board hire, with tuition charged by the hour. The villa is approximately 15 minutes from the Galle Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Visitors can enjoy strolling through the charming streets, enjoying drinks in restaurants, exploring the growing boutiques, and walking the ruins at sunset.
