I stayed at Kumbura Villa for 1 week. The tropical setting is magnificent.So lush. It is peaceful with a swimming Pool. and glorious views of .the surrounding area. Cecile anticipates her guests needs and she is conscientiously looking for new restaurants and areas of local interests for the visitors. She has created a beautiful home. Manjula prepares delicious meals ,always varied and I couldn’t wait for each dish to be served.Manjula and her staff cared and nurtured us during our stay. I so much treasured my stay at Kumbura Villa and enjoyed the gentleness and hospitality of the people. This place was paradise, we just checked out and didn't want to leave. Stunning surroundings, with many peacocks and monkeys regularly appearing on the villa roof tops. The villa was immaculate and the service from Manjula and the team was 10/10. Manjula's cooking is also worth a big shout out, it was so delicious. We will be back, thanks for everything !!

We had a wonderful stay at Kumbura Villa. The property is absolutely beautiful and the photos are a good representation of the property's current condition. The sheets and towels are top quality; there are robes provided, and safes in the bedrooms.Cecile is a highly responsive and friendly host. She provided lots of very helpful and reassuring information ahead of our arrival and was contactable throughout our stay for local tips.The villa staff were amazing - always on hand when we needed them, but never obtrusive. Manjula and her team prepared fantastic meals (do try the passionfruit mousse) and organised tuk-tuk rides when we needed them. They were delightful with our 6-year-old son.We were in Sri Lanka for a special anniversary celebration and our stay at Kumbura Villa was just what we hoped for.

A true heaven on earth !! What a BEAUTIFUL place !! We literally enjoyed every single moment in this place. The staff are amazing and very helpful, and the place? Indescribable .. My wife and two kids really loved watching all the different types of animals in the surroundings. Definitely recommended to everyone !!

The arrival was smooth and the actual property is attractive, considered and in immaculate running order. the outdoor areas, including an infinity pool overlooking Paddy fields with wild peacocks, were a highlight.The cleaner, cook and security guard were veryconsiderate going the extra mile to support the 2families staying who has a 6 month old, 2 year old and 4year old between us. Manjula deserves a special mentionas she was truly fantastic and even looked after ourchildren so we could enjoy our meals.The perfect setting for a relaxing or adventurous holiday with plenty to do nearby! Nothing whatsoever to complain about!
