I recently had the pleasure of visiting this event and attending a friend's wedding, and it was an absolute delight. From the moment I arrived, the friendly and fun staff made me feel welcomed and excited for the celebration ahead. The atmosphere was wonderfully relaxing, providing the perfect backdrop for a wedding getaway. Additionally, their thoughtful amenities, such as a dedicated parking spot for bikes, made it convenient for me to explore the area before and after the wedding festivities. Even though I haven't stayed at villa what I saw is that the rooms were spacious, well-appointed, and meticulously maintained, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay for the guests. What truly made this hotel exceptional was the genuine and infectious energy of the staff, who went above and beyond to make the wedding event truly memorable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone attending a special event or looking for a remarkable getaway.

Villa Maridadi is one of the best places I've stayed in Bali. (March 2018) The village of Cemagi is just north of Canggu and world's away. Incredibly quiet, very very few villas, and no restaurants to speak of. Just a few simple warungs and tokos. This is idyllic for me. I like to be away from the crowds and enjoy the ocean view. You can see the ocean from the living areas and hear the waves crashing. Villa Maridadi is oceanfront, but not beach front. There is a small dead-end lane running between the property and the cliffs, but it ends at a small temple. There is no through traffic so you rarely hear any autos or motorbikes. To get to a beach area you must walk past the temple a few 100 meters to a black sand beach area. It's a bit rocky and not perfect for kids. A small stream between the temple and the beach to walk over as well. As with all beaches in Bali, it is somewhat dirty but gets clean as you walk away from the temple. There is a nice sand bar that kids can play on and you can be pretty isolated. On three beach excursions only once did we see any other people. This is not a safe swimming beach, currents and waves are extremely strong. The staff at this villa is quite good, accommodating both children's and adult's meals, and arranging a few special requests for a birthday. Rooms are excellent and clean aside from a few bugs as is usual.I would not stay in this villa if you plan on eating in Canggu or Seminyak every night. Or even if you plan to shop much. It's just too far. Although they provide standard car and driver each day, you'll waste precious hours in traffic going through Canggu both ways. For me this is a place to really unwind and relax, enjoy that the villa can provide for you and leave the going out and partying to the other areas. Cemagi is truly special.

Excellent - the view of the ocean, the design of the territory and the villa itself, the manager Yola, the staff. Driver, staff Of the minuses - you need to look at the products from which they cook in the villa. The food culture in Indonesia is not as high as in Europe, often cooked in the villa with almost spoiled food and old oil. You need to look at the grocery basket in the villa. But the staff is open and ready to improve quality. The cleaning was great. The territory is treated with anti-pet and only small lizards and worms are found. There are bat mice. The location is about 20 minutes from restaurants by bike, the closest life is in the Berawa area and Canggu, of course. We are happy with the villa.

Location

Nestled between rice fields and the Indian Ocean, Villa Maridadi is situated in the traditional village of Cemagi on Bali’s south-west coast. The black sandy shores and rocky outcrops are also home to the small sea temple of Pura Gede Luhur Batungaus. Walk through the gate at the front of the garden and take a stroll along the beach, or cycle through the rice fields and experience the Balinese way of life; you are bound to witness a village ceremony or two as you explore. Despite its rural setting, the villa is only 30 minutes’ drive from the many restaurants and shops of cosmopolitan Seminyak. World famous Echo Beach is also within easy reach (10 minutes by car), where guests can enjoy the laidback surfer vibe, an ice-cold beer and some incredible sunsets. And just down the road from Echo Beach, Canggu’s Jalan Batu Bolong is lined with exciting new places to eat, drink and shop.
